-This lovely Antique French Wax Seal would be perfect to seal your correspondence, use as a styling prop, or to collect!
-Finely crafted turned wood handle.
-In overall good antique condition with general wear, all signs of great use!
-The wax seal is a cross-hatched square pattern. This is known as a wafer seal debuting in approximately 1850.

*please note that a modern wax seal stamp is 2.5cm round, so this is a slightly smaller impression.
